About Us

Research. Policy. Cooperation.

Who We Are

The Center for Strategic Muslim Affairs (CSMA) is an independent research initiative focused on the coordination dynamics of Muslim-majority states and their engagement with global power systems.

CSMA was established to contribute structured, policy-relevant analysis at a time when much discourse on Muslim affairs remains reactive, externally framed, or driven by short-term narratives. The center prioritizes analytical clarity, institutional realism, and long-term perspective

We examines how cooperation emerges, why it remains limited, and how structural constraints, strategic trade-offs, and external dependencies shape patterns of fragmentation across the Muslim world.

Through disciplined research and structured assessment, CSMA aims to clarify political dynamics, power relationships, and the conditions under which meaningful coordination becomes possible.

CSMA envisions a future in which Muslim societies engage internal challenges and global affairs with greater strategic coherence, intellectual confidence, and institutional responsibility.

CSMA LOGO

The CSMA emblem represents the reconstruction of Muslim strategic coherence in a fragmented global order. Its interwoven geometry reflects interconnected political realities, while its open circular form signifies intellectual openness, accountability, and evidence-based analysis. The design does not symbolize nostalgia or inherited power, but the deliberate alignment of emotional unity, strategic clarity, and forward-looking policy engagement.
